My son with the potty mouth

So I know it's wrong for kids to swear and I'm always reminding them of what's not ok to say like the B word, D word, and my favorite, the F word. If you don't know what those words are send me an email I'm happy to let you know.

So my son, Allen, follows his tattle tailing sister into the house (that's another blog) and in the middle of her overly dramatic retelling of how mean Allen is he puts his hands in the air, dirty knees and pink cheeks, declares "this whole thing is bullsh*t!" if your like me you got a huge smile on your face because really if you think about it, he's speaking the truth. How many times have you been in a situation and wanted to put your hands up claiming bullsh*t? So my smile was hidden because my job as a parent is to not allow that sort of truth to be spoken by him. So I did the whole "Allen, do you want soap in your mouth?" he said no I said ok bad word and let it alone. I think making a big deal about every little thing is only going to make them want to do it more. Plus he's so damn cute :)
